We walk into a house which is filled with culture and memories of Peranakan's family. Before I step into the house, I have to pay RM 10 for entrance fee and they give me a 'visitors guide'. Before I share my experience, I would like to introduce this mansion in simple way.
The Pinang Peranakan Mansion, typical of the home of an affluent Baba a century ago is re-created to allow visitors a glimpse of the opulent lifestyle, customs and traditions in those days. over a thousan pieces of antiques and collectible of this era is on display in this heritage mansion with its eclectic architecture.—— Visitors Guide of Pinang Peranakan Mansion
The front door of this mansion is same with normal banglo. When my friend drops us there, I thought we still have to walk further. When I saw the poster, I know my thought is wrong.

Do you notice a lot of colourful papers are sticked at the plants?
These stickers prove that you are one of visitors of the mansion.
Actually, you can ask for tour guide there but I choose to explore by myself.

When I am walking in the mansion, I notice that every table is clean but there are a lot of pieces papers on this table, so, I think this is one of entertainment for the family like 'mahjong'.
Normally, Chinise use dark wooden colour for the board, but this board is golden colour
beacause they are Peranakan. They own their style.

When I see this, I think about 'bunga emas'.
During era Kesultanan Melaka, 'bunga emas' (golden flower) is tribute.
This thing is also golden flower but different from that tribute.

Actually, kitchen in the mansion is also on of the galleries.
I miss the kitchen because we are running out of time.
On the way walking back to car, I found that shop owners make full use of walls.
My tired eyes were refreshed when I saw it.
The weather is hot. I take a herbal tea to quench.
After lunch, we head to somewhere full with colour and taste the sweet.
